Milky Wonder Cake

6 Milky Way bars
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Melt the candy bars and 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan over very low heat. Beat 1/2 cup softened butter and sugar in a bowl until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk, stirring until smooth. Add melted candy, mixing well. Stir in vanilla. Turn the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool.
