Toffee grapes

SERVES 6
500g black grapes
175g (3/4 cup) caster sugar
80ml (1/3 cup) water
6 shots (30ml each) Frangelico, to serve
Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper. Insert a toothpick into the base of each grape.
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to high and bring to the boil. Boil, without stirring, for 5 minutes or until syrup turns golden. Use a pastry brush dipped in water to brush down the side of the pan. Remove from heat and allow bubbles to subside.
Dip each grape into the toffee to coat. Place upright on the lined trays. Cool, then serve with a shot of Frangelico.
