Folembray
http://www.circuit-de-folembray.com/
Located 135 miles from Calais in France, near St Quentin. 2 km long, with the longest straight of 920 metres. Folembray is a small circuit, surrounded by woods - but it is somehow addictive. Folembray is not a typical circuit, tucked away in a forest with a house in the centre. The run-off is non-existent in places, with trees very close to the track, so caution is needed; but it has a mix of fast sweepers and 2 hairpins to keep everyone entertained.
Hotel: I stayed in The Belle Vue in the neighbouring village of Coucy le Chateau Auffrique. The village itself is a tourist attraction, and holds a medieval festival every year, more info here.
Also recommended (but no personal experience) is Le Lion Rouge, also in Coucy le Chateau Auffrique
Folembray, March & July 2003
I visited Folembray twice in 2003. The first trip was in the 111S in March and was a single day trackday. The second trip was with the 160 and was part of French Frolic 3 which also visited Croix, but as I was returning from Germany at the time, I was only able to join up with the trip at Folembray. Also part of the trip was an organised run back from Folembray via Le Touquet.
